About Liz
​Frustrated by watching her step-son struggle with school, Liz embarked on a mission to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment where students can thrive, beginning with homeschooling her three daughters. Her approach is tailored to each individual to foster confidence & academic success.

Liz has extensive training in intervention methods that correlate with the Science of Reading, including Orton-Gillingham and Evidence Based Literacy Instruction (EBLI). She stays abreast of the latest research & best practices to ensure her students receive the highest quality education.
In addition to her work as a tutor, Liz volunteers as a CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocate) for children & as a literacy coach for adult members of her community.
